I bought this set to have a complete set and to get custom sizes like 2/3 and 3/4. Of course you can measure these quantities with two measures, but it is good to be able to measure once. I didn't think I would use the small 1/8 cup but it was actually helpful. We cook a lot, so anything that speeds up the process helps. These are very attractive and permanent measures. They sit comfortably in the box I keep them in, a standard depth drawer. They are very easy to hand wash, dry and easy to clean.
