More space between pedals than MKS EZY pedals

These pedals look great and are very expensive. The quick release feature gives me amazing freedom as now I can easily pack 3 bikes and 3 people into my minivan to take a ride and explore trails further from my home base without messing around with bike racks and exposing my bikes to the weather and possible theft. To be honest, I haven't ridden these pedals myself because I mounted them on our large guest bike and mine is small. It was easy to add the Zefal XLarge toe clips so I'm happy. However, I would like to point out one major difference between these Lixada pedals and the MKS Ezy pedals that I have on my bike. Well, two big differences. Initially, these pedals cost half what mine did. On the other hand, the eccentrics move the pedal surface to the side. I hope that even our dear guests will not notice this. However, this can be an issue when used on a shorter bike. The MKS Ezy pedals on my bike are carefully designed so that the surface of the pedal folds around the eccentric. My foot position is the same as on the quick release pedals, like the pedals that come with my bike. However, with these Lixada pedals, the position of the foot is shifted outwards by almost half an inch. It sounds like a small change, but small changes can make a big difference over thousands of pedal strokes. Of course, these pedals are not likely to be bought by people who have been riding for centuries. So for the amateur rider, the quick release makes it a lot easier to pack up our bikes and head to more exotic destinations for some truly awesome rides. It was a nuisance to use our bike rack so my husband struggled to move when we got in the car to ride him. It made me anxious as we stopped to eat and leave the bikes outside, and we risked damaging our bikes if we hit one of the many poorly designed access roads that climbed up or down too abruptly. Unloading was almost as frustrating as loading, and after the ride we had to do it again. I love to go horseback riding outside. Riding always lifts my spirits and I compliment myself on staying fit and being productive. However, the tedious loading and unloading really spoiled that good feeling. It's ruined some great trips. The pedals were a real headache, spinning as the bikes rolled into the van and constantly catching on things, but these quick-release pedals make loading the bikes into our minivan an easy task! We simply remove a few seats and then roll up each bike to secure with a zip tie that runs from the seat post clamp in the floor to the handle above the window. We have a large, medium and small bike so the handlebars fold naturally. Without pedals, loading our van is effortless. No more disappointment. Instead, we feel happy and proud every time we boot up for being so smart! We laugh every time we load or unload. It changed our emotional state tremendously. Using fast pedals is such a small thing, but trust me it can make a HUGE difference. We also like to ride with friends and relatives. Different people and different rides require different types of pedals. Quick release makes things easy. For example, instead of fumbling around with small screws in small places to remove or replace toe clips, I just remove clipped pedals and put in a pair without. Also, if we have a small guest, I can easily switch my pedals to a medium bike and my husband to a large one.
