These pedals are of good quality and work well. However, there were absolutely no instructions or documentation on how to use them. I love the size of this pair. I installed them on my Cannondale hybrid road bike. Worked fine but the quick release on the right side didn't work. I had to remove the adapter to free the pedal - this defeats the purpose of a quick-release pedal. I thought the product was defective and asked Revain to replace it. In the meantime I tried this pair on my foldable Dahon and it worked on both sides. The replacement came within a day. The right side still doesn't work. I suspect the problem must be…

Used them for about a month. Installed on a folding bike on Friday where I have to remove the pedals for transport. Now you can release the pedals very quickly. As other reviews have noted, even when wearing Altra running shoes, which have a durable outsole pattern for uneven surfaces, they are slightly slippery, but not slippery enough to be a problem for most cyclists. The good thing is that they won't scratch your feet when the pedals hit them. I might try adding/coloring the sticky surface.

These pedals look great and are very expensive. The quick release feature gives me amazing freedom as now I can easily pack 3 bikes and 3 people into my minivan to take a ride and explore trails further from my home base without messing around with bike racks and exposing my bikes to the weather and possible theft.
