There are 3 problems with this spare bracket: 1. If you install it like they do It was believed that the frame was not tall enough to fit into the main frame rail of most trailers and clear the side rails. As a result, it just won't work without having to weld an additional riser to secure it. This should be the height of the tire or at least close to actual performance in the intended scenario2. The supplied eyelets are carriage bolts. That's good, but the problem is that they get in the way when you take them off because they fall out. They should be fixed on the bracket, but can still be moved. At the same time, they do not fall out, but achieve the same result.3. The eyelets provided are 3/4", while most trailers use 13/16" nuts on the eyelets, or some smaller 9/16". I don't know of ANY trailer that uses 3/4" bolts, so now you'll have to take it with you. an extra socket for those nuts just to take the spare off so you can install it. The kit should contain 2 sets of eyelets, one for 9/16 and one for 13/16 inches, and you can choose which ones to use to match your trailer's existing eyelets.
