They are essential if you want your vacmaster to work like a true HEPA vacuum with hazardous dust. They are often out of stock. So if you see them in stock, buy more than you need. They are also very expensive, making the price competitiveness of the vacmaster and more expensive HEPA vacuums much less than it first appears. If you plan to buy these bags along with the vacmaster HEPA vacuum, I strongly recommend that you buy another HEPA vacuum. I would, even if it meant a few hundred more up front, simply because of the cost and availability of these bags.
