Review on Dorman 615-205 Engine Intake Manifold Gasket Set – Compatible Models, Top-Quality Solution by Montrell Copeland

Revainrating 5 out of 5

BEST price and everything was just GOOD.

LIM replaced with 2000 Pontiac Grand-AM 3.7L GM 3400 V6. I had a coolant leak after the car was parked for a while. At first it only leaked on the side of the engine belt, later the leak became more severe from the air intake / driver's side. Upon checking the oil it looked like newer oil, although after 3000 miles it should have looked a lot darker than oil. I almost bought a more expensive Fel Pro but this one seems to be made the same way (METAL with RUBBER SEALS) and I definitely wanted new screws on the LIM and this kit has them where the Fel Pro wanted another $20 just for screws. One of the gaskets in this kit fits my EGR. 2 gaskets and 1 o-ring were not used in my replacement work. The valve cover gaskets fit my caps perfectly. Other things you need to buy. If you removed the throttle body from the upper intake, get a new gasket. - Rings for your injectors (I have 6), they are usually sold 4 per pack. My lower intake gaskets fit very well. The upper has positioning lugs and not only did they fit perfectly, they came pretty darn close to being flat on both ends. There is no name on LIM seals. I can only assume it was Dorman. Save some money and buy these instead of the Fel-Pro. It's only DAY 2 but no leaks yet.
