I used to crochet quite a bit, but I've never tried a pattern where you had to follow the beginning of the row. When I first started making hats I had to mark this point for the SC rows. I heard about stitch markers so I started looking. I ordered some cheap ones from Hong Kong but they haven't arrived YET. So I ordered them and use them every day. I only needed ONE but hey. I'll probably lose them over time, so backups are useful. I found the device easy to use, it doesn't feel flimsy to me and should work fine in use. It's been a few weeks now and I'm probably opening/closing the, which I use at least 20 times a day while crocheting in the evenings. I would order again if I lost everything in that package (wink).
