Review on πŸ”Œ Black Lippert 733926 Quick Drop Tongue Jack for A-Frame Travel, Cargo, and Utility Trailers or 5th Wheel RVs with 2000lb Weight Capacity by Tim Curd

Revainrating 1 out of 5

There are no spare parts. If it breaks it can't be repaired

EDIT to add: The special top nut that holds the drill bit is broken. There are no replacement parts other than buying a new jack (only a fool would do that). The advantage of the jack was the ability to use a drill. The nut is made of cheap metal. A nut under this load must be stainless steel. If 5 min. Substitute work if the parts were in stock. WARNING: If the nut breaks you're dead in the water. You can't scroll manually either. Up or down, you're stuck where you are. ------------- - I have a Milwaukee M18 drill. The jack raises and lowers beautifully. The 3/4" socket needed also fits my stabilizer jacks so I can quickly assemble the camper with a drill press. However, I don't know how well it will handle a 1000 pound or larger tongue. This requires a stronger drill. than mine. I think your weight rating is optimistic. It's too high for heavier trailers. I would suggest a max drawbar weight closer to 750 pounds. It has a large stroke which is very good for installation on slopes.
