With a 1/2" cordless drill and the recommended adapter, the nut fell apart the second time I used it with the hitch in contact with the block. The nut used to turn the jack up and down cracked the second time we used it. The first time was when installing a jack. The second time we came to the campsite. Ordered a replacement immediately as I figured it would be an easy fix. When it came time to pack it all fell apart. I had to borrow a jack from another tourist to hook up the tractor to get home. EDIT to add: The special top nut that holds the drill bit is broken. There are no replacement parts other than buying a new jack (only a fool would do that). The advantage of the jack was the ability to use a drill. The nut is made of cheap metal. A nut under this load must be stainless steel. If 5 min. Substitute work if the parts were in stock.
