Broke on second use.

Broken on second use. The special hex nut on the top of the unit fell apart on the second use. With a 1/2" cordless drill and the recommended adapter, the nut fell apart the second time I used it with the hitch in contact with the block. The speed of the free spin, accompanied by the force of the foot hitting the ground, was disastrous, and the nut that held the whole operation together crumbled. Due to the failure of so many parts, I refused to fit a replacement. Sent both broken bushings back one by one and a replacement still in…

There are no spare parts. If it breaks it can't be repaired

EDIT to add: The special top nut that holds the drill bit is broken. There are no replacement parts other than buying a new jack (only a fool would do that). The advantage of the jack was the ability to use a drill. The nut is made of cheap metal. A nut under this load must be stainless steel. If 5 min. Substitute work if the parts were in stock. WARNING: If the nut breaks you're dead in the water. You can't scroll manually either. Up or down, you're stuck where you are. ------------- - I have…
