One of the best deals, glad I bought this.
In 2008, when I made the purchase, the value was excellent. I was able to get 3.6 GHz mobile with a decent air cooler. I haven't even attempted to get higher yet. Such processors were commonplace in my future workplace. They continue to perform admirably in many areas, including modeling, office work, web browsing, and even some less processor-intensive games. This is a highly effective model.
- Low cost, great potential for overclocking, and current utility across a wide range of workloads.
- Although the cache is less than the E8x00, the low cost makes up for it.
