Review on GuDez Protector 3 Outlet Charger 6 6 Foot Power Strips & Surge Protectors by Antonio Santiago
I doubt the effectiveness of this product.
My TV was plugged into one of these surge protectors and a speakerphone was plugged into another. Both are plugged into two two-wire outlets on the same circuit as the old part of the house. A violent storm started, and when the storm passed, neither the TV nor the speakerphone worked. Most likely, I got under a surge in the line from a fairly close lightning bolt. Also, the power cord is 18 gauge and the plug is non-polarized. In my opinion the cord should have 16 gauge wire and a polarized connector. Just an extra security element. Desperate
