Review on πŸͺš Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade 115" x 1/2" x 3 TPI: The Ultimate Cutting Power with Positive Claw Technology by Tim Bunker

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The blade broke at the weld after 1 month of moderate use.

I have a Laguna 14-12 band saw that I've had for over two years and it was my second Timber Wolf 1/2" band saw blade. Just over a month later (after the return window ) the blade broke at the weld during use, but not while cutting. I had just trimmed about a 3" chunk of walnut, so it wasn't anything this blade couldn't handle. I was about to grab another chunk to trim when I heard the blade snap. After I removed it, I saw that it was broken at the weld. I've had a band saw for several years, so I know how to properly align and tension the blade and guides Good thing I bought a backup blade to keep working but now these blades have a 50% failure rate so I may have to try other blades again.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad
