Description of πŸͺš Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade 115" x 1/2" x 3 TPI: The Ultimate Cutting Power with Positive Claw Technology

Milled teeth are 50 PERCENT SHARPER than competitors stamped or crush ground blades. Precision Induction hardening throughout the blade vs competitors flame hardening. Tooth edge is 20 PERCENT harder than any high carbon steel resulting in extended sharp time. More ductile steel than any high carbon steel leads to extended flex life and a cooler running blade.

Works great with bandsaws

I got the blade and Laguna bandsaw a few weeks ago so haven't used this blade much yet but so far I'm a fan of it. Works perfectly

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some little things

2 cracked at the weld.

I think they have a problem with these blades. I popped the last two at the weld. The last one did it and I didn't even see it, I just called. I use it for bowl blanks. Part of the wood is damp or wet. Maybe it's just not good for that

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Big and bulky

but now not very satisfied

Less than 3 months with light use, the blade broke at the weld. I'm not sure what happened: The saw suddenly slowed down as if it was under some kind of resistance, followed by a loud click/pop. The blade broke at the weld. I will risk another one but am not very happy at the moment.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

That worked great, I mostly used it non-stop for the .

I flew through this blade. It worked great, I used it non stop for a week on green and dry wood and it did everything I needed. Although he is now retired. So I think it could have been better but I gave it 5 stars because I know the wood I walked through wasn't perfect. Use this blade on my Laguna 14Twelve.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Weight

This is my first saw blade to fit my Laguna 14 12 and it is well made with a smooth weld. But not suitable for tropical hardwoods such as koa, eucalyptus and ironwood thicker than 1 inch. I'm waiting for a Resaw King band saw with a 3/4" X 12-14-16mm variable pitch X 115" carbide tip. I will report after use.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Review 2 years later

This blade still works well after being used on weekends for the last 2 years. I never changed the blade and always kept it taut. It worked well for moderate cuts and curves. I used to think it was drifting until I realized I had the bandsaw set incorrectly. According to Alex Snodgrass' YouTube setup instructions, the blade moves perfectly straight. It's not the fastest at sawing through a 10" walnut, so I'd probably choose a different blade for heavy sawing. For a versatile screen, this is…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • New Competitors

The blade broke at the weld after 1 month of moderate use.

I have a Laguna 14-12 band saw that I've had for over two years and it was my second Timber Wolf 1/2" band saw blade. Just over a month later (after the return window ) the blade broke at the weld during use, but not while cutting. I had just trimmed about a 3" chunk of walnut, so it wasn't anything this blade couldn't handle. I was about to grab another chunk to trim when I heard the blade snap. After I removed it, I saw that it was broken at the weld. I've had a band saw for several years, so

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad
