This product works better than a toilet plunger. I've used it a few times when a regular plunger wouldn't work. But one day, after just a few uses, the plastic thread ring on the toilet plug broke very easily, rendering the entire device unusable! about the manufacturer Thinvik. I can't find their website anywhere and can't contact them. This information was not included in the product. So in the end it was a waste of $30 and also a waste of my time and damage to my wall installing the mounting bracket. It's a shame because before it broke it actually worked while the regular piston didn't. If only they made this ring out of metal instead of cheap plastic.
