The truth is I found a Garmin OEM part and didn't need to use it but tried one to see if it worked. The reviews I read said they were small. Absolute truth. It takes a lot of pressure to get them to snap over the ball on my Garmin vacuum mount and it deforms that mount mount. After attaching it to the ball, I'm not sure if the flat part will stick to the back of my GPS unit due to plastic deformation. Actually, I never had the chance to try it. I will keep them as a backup in case I lose my OEM part again, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
