Good phone holder for small phones

Fits perfectly on the handlebars of my e-scooter and I can mount it where it doesn't interfere when folding. Pretty intuitive to install and holds securely. There is a detachable pad that allows you to switch between waterproof and padded on smaller phones, versus having more space on larger phones but not waterproof/no padding. The interior space is very limited. My 6.4 inch phone doesn't fit and my shorter 5.8 inch phone fits without a pad. My 5 inch phone fits with a gasket, although all 3 require the 3rd party protective case to be removed first. I don't worry too much about waterproofing as my e-scooter is a fair weather vehicle, but it still isn't protected from unexpected rain or the scooter ending up in a body of water. The benefit of not having a waterproof pad is that your phone is better cooled and a sealed case encourages overheating, especially at low speeds. Thanks to the standardization, the central loading opening fits perfectly. The touchscreen takes some effort to actually get through the resistive layer to the phone's native capacitive touchscreen. The case and ports appear to be made out of fairly thin plastic, which should hold up well to everyday use. I'm not sure how it will hold up in an accident, although your phone's survivability will probably be the least of your concerns if you crash like a motorcyclist. There is a window on the back for your front camera. So if you want to record your ride from your phone, you can turn your phone vertically and record what's in front of you. The only way to loosen/tighten the knob to rotate the phone up or down beyond the relatively limited angles of the ball joint is to loosen the hex screw (this can't be done by hand) so you'll have to carry one appropriate tool on you. One issue is the lack of access to an external button, so you can't start/wake up the phone when it's powered off. All in all, this is a great way to add visual navigation to your car, although be sure to check your phone's size before ordering.
