This tool doesn't grip my hair well enough to create the tension needed to blow dry it perfectly, but when I use my hand it's like squeezing my hair against a brush, it works very well. I end up straightening most of my waves and only need to iron over a few sections to finish. Overall I'm very happy with it. It is MUCH easier to use than a brush and traditional hair dryer. I really want the highs to be a little less pitched or the lows a little more punchy, but switching between the two allows me to achieve the look I want (considering I've always styled my hair horribly). says a lot).
