Review on 🔌 Dorman 742-446 Power Window Motor - Front Driver Side for Chrysler and Dodge Models by Sean Moran

I took a chance not needing the controller assembly so I bought this particular motor. I think I'm lucky. the window went up very slowly and now much faster. My only complaint is the awful plastic clips that come with the motor to attach it to the door frame. I had 2 out of 3 clips fail when I pushed them hard. (It's a two-part deal - there's a part that snaps into the door, and a "spear" that goes through that part to install the motor. The part that stays in the door broke into pieces, as I tried to push the pieces together.) I ended up taking some mounting bolts, nuts, washers and locks to attach the motor to the door. Even with the "non-standard" mounting system, the complete installation was nearly painless.
