I have a Power Pet electronic dog door that allows you to turn the internal and external sensors on and off with one button. This was a problem for me because I work the evening shift and my beagle howls outside late at night before I get home to keep her indoors. With SwitchBot, I can remotely turn off the indoor sensor on a schedule I set up in the SwitchBot app, and the next time she goes in, she won't be able to go out. This was a great comfort to me and my neighbors. The picture shows four of them on the panel. I also have one to control an external sensor so I can keep them away. The other two control a function to keep the door open at all times. To do this, you need to hold down the power button and then press the door open button. I was able to hold the 10 second toggle on the power button to hold the button down while the SwitchBot was running on the door opener button. I pointed a security camera at the dog door so I can use the LED lights to verify that my sensors are set up properly, as it's impossible to tell if they're on or not, not the SwitchBot's fault. The only minor issue I had with one of the buttons was that it required a gentle touch and the SwitchBot pressed too hard for it to work. To solve this problem, I took the extra sticky pad that came with the kit and folded it in half so the SwitchBot easily detached from the plate. Then I took some soft rubber knobs with glue on one side that you use on the inside of closet doors to keep them from rattling and attached one of those to the knob. It worked well.
