Tired of buying GE filters

Did the hack, removed the rfid chip from the bypass filter. Installed this filter, flushed it for 5 mins, then checked it with my TDS meter. The water from my tap measures 410 TDS (total dissolved solids). With the stock GE filter the TDS comes down to 280 and the water from the fridge tastes fine. With this filter the TDS still measures 400 but the water tastes fine also. Not really a direct replacement for the GE filter. I'll try another brand, these don't seem to be doing as good as the stock filter.
