Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Enhanced Performance, Power Boost: Fits 2008-2012 DODGE/RAM (Ram 1500, 1500)63-1529 by Mike Davan

I bought the 63-1529 kit to try and improve the fuel economy of my husband's truck. He attempted to install the kit yesterday and everything went fine, down to installing a K&N air filter on the air hose. The kit was supposed to contain an RF-1040 filter and the box had an RF-1040, but the diameter of the flange used to attach it to the air hose was MUCH large. For his kit, the air hose is four inches in diameter and the filter in the box is six. I called the company and sent pictures to fix the problem but they didn't call back after four hours. My husband needs the right filter to drive his truck and needs it overnight for it to get done. Very annoying, especially since a filter of this size is not sold at other auto parts stores.
