I've been crocheting like a madman for a few years and a few years ago I tried knitting on a loom and got addicted to it too. I bought a cheap Revain circular loom with 4 sizes of circular looms and also a rake loom. It wasn't a bad set, but these Flexee looms are better than any other loom with a feature that no other loom has: you can adjust the size by increasing or decreasing, basically at will, closing or making new stitches and then remove/add links as needed. They're pretty easy to use, the plastic is nice and thick, and seems like it'll last a while. easy to use, just glue them together in the order you want - there are rounded and straight edges in two different colors. I love that they come in two sizes, I bought a set of each size. This is just a great loom and I would say if you are new to weaving and want to buy some kind of loom kit then you should buy this. You can use one or more boxes of these instead of another set of looms and you can use them to knit flat or in the round and decrease/increase easier. Plus, they're customizable as you can purchase another box and add it to your existing set, allowing you to make any size flat or round loom you need for the specific project. Wooden machines are good for people who can afford it, but for me these machines are absolutely perfect, they tick all the boxes and I definitely recommend them to anyone who loves to knit or crochet. Can't say enough good things about them!
