Do not use carpets for reptiles!
I was the new owner of the leopard gecko a month ago so I ordered a bunch of stuff. I've learned a lot since then and carpet isn't safe. it contains bacteria and sticks to nails and teeth. I hate that so many pet stores and online stores sell them. Try running a bioactive tank or use paper towels/non-stick shelf liner
