I'll admit they seemed a little pricey but they were worth it, especially for kids who love scented items and/or kids who love markers want to use, but she doesn't know how to use them. they still. My favorite "scented" markers were expensive; the washable type was not scented enough and the non-washable type was scented but they don't rinse well at all. They have BIG flavors PLUS the scent image on the marker (no more "What is that guy”, "Mmm I don't know, let me smell it”). In case you haven't tried "gel" crayons, they are a combination of a marker and a colored pencil. They apply very easily and are lighter in color than markers, but are not "wet" like markers. They also blend really well, better than regular crayons. Three year old LOVES her. A five year old prefers the thicker traditional markers but loves the flavors.
