As with the others, the metal is thin. Thin enough to be a problem, no. Thin enough to notice the difference in quality, yes. But what disappointed me the most was the cover. I bought this set because of the covers over other options. These lids are non-shrinkable and have no adhesive to stay in place. I wish I had known this beforehand as I didn't have enough heat shrink and ended up not having enough. I had to use heat shrink tubing to keep the lid in place and didn't like it.
