Not heavy but works well

These were purchased to connect a trolling motor to a breaker and a breaker to a trolling battery. They are made of tinned copper, the standard for marine wires and connectors. These are not high performance connectors but they worked well for my purpose and for half the price I would pay for a pair of branded terminals.

The covers were not heat shrinkable.

As with the others, the metal is thin. Thin enough to be a problem, no. Thin enough to notice the difference in quality, yes. But what disappointed me the most was the cover. I bought this set because of the covers over other options. These lids are non-shrinkable and have no adhesive to stay in place. I wish I had known this beforehand as I didn't have enough heat shrink and ended up not having enough. I had to use heat shrink tubing to keep the lid in place and didn't like it.

Used in marine applications.

I used these ring connectors for my aluminum boat project. They're on the lighter side of things, but they got the job done. They have a small hole/slot at the top where the cable goes in. This is caused by the machine flattening the pipe. I tried soldering a few closed ones, but ended up putting a few layers of liquid electrical tape over the hole in addition to the shrink tubing (after inserting/crimping the wire). Also, they are easy to crimp (IWISS crimping tool), they look good and feel…
