White film on ice cubes from these trays - REDUCED BY COOKING

I don't like these ice trays as I have not used the cubes frozen in them. The ice comes out with a strange white film on all the cubes. As a result, an unsightly white film forms in the drink and white floating matter can be seen in the drink. I have frozen over 10 batches of cubes but a white film was left on the ice. I'm not sure what to do with these ice cube trays to get rid of the white buildup - I've tried cleaning the trays, soaking them, soaking them in a white vinegar solution and leaving them in the sun. I love the concept of closed trays and this feature is the only reason I'm giving this 2 stars. Otherwise, I don't use them because I can't enjoy a drink or serve a drink with a white floating film in liquid. I'm disappointed and welcome any suggestion on how to get rid of the white matter in the ice. EDIT: (I originally only gave the ice cube trays 2 stars because I was disappointed with the product). After reporting my disappointment with this product to the seller, GDREAMT, I received assurances that I could receive a full refund (no ice tray returns). GDREAMT recommended that I boil the ice cream trays for 10 minutes and then try making ice cream again. I'm now editing my original review of these ice cube trays because after cooking with the lid on (though I don't know if it was necessary) there were no floating substances in my ice cubes. I was confident that GDREAMT would refund my money for buying ice molds even if I continued to watch a cloudy movie on the ice. But I'm happy to report that boiling the ice cream shells got rid of the weird stuff in my ice cream.

Pros
