Review on Royal Purple 341777 Extended Filter by Dennis Reed

Changed one of these for an oil change on my 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser and I won't lie, I don't believe it for a second. 3X better than $6 Toyota OEM filter. Now I'm sure it's a quality filter. I gave a total of 4 stars. And I've seen YouTube videos of various oil filters that have been cropped to emphasize low quality over high quality and Royal Purple has been shown to make a quality filter. But I have no reason to believe that Toyota's OEM filter is not of good quality. . Does the Royal Purple filter capture a micron or two more? May be. I honestly do not know. And since I don't know, I don't know why I would ever spend money on an oil filter when there are other quality options for a lot cheaper. Some might like the warm, snuggly feeling they get when installing one of these (I think Tommy Boy is referring to that experience when he sees the warranty on the box). Personally, I like the warm, comfortable feeling of not overpaying for a product.
