I bought this product to prevent hay and pet hair from building up in my washing machine and causing damage. The bag was larger than I expected and easily fit in my washing machine. So far I have washed cage liners, bedding and toys and the bag has held up well. Most of the animal hair and hay stayed in the sack. I poured detergent straight into the pouch and everything came out clean and smelling fresh. When removing the bedding from the bag, be sure to shake it to keep the hay in the bag. Also I would recommend making sure the bag is properly closed, on my first try the bag came open and I didn't want to give a positive review. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that there is a small zippered pocket that prevents the zipper from opening during the cleaning cycle. Finally, do not put the bag in the dryer, take it outside, turn it over, shake out the trash and let it air dry.
