While reviewing the Pasta Cutter for the KitchenAid Blender, I found that I had nowhere else to put my freshly cut pasta other than on a cutting board. It took over quickly and many of the noodles were sticking together. For just $8, you can get this foldable pasta dryer as the solution to this new problem. For the price, it seems durable enough to hold wet spaghetti noodles. The stems and legs are all plastic and there is a steel tube in the middle for support. The advert says it's dishwasher safe, but I plan on hand washing it because it wipes clean easily. I honestly don't think multiple visits to the dishwasher will help with that. The stand folds up for easy storage, but not like an umbrella. Each of the four legs must be extended and locked into place, and then each of the ten dryer arms must also be raised and then inserted into the hub. This method is not elegant, but acceptable for the price. The multipurpose dough scraper is just a three inch by five inch piece of thick plastic with three sharp edges. This simple card should do the trick and is a welcome bonus.
