I have a white Bell jet helmet that I use for a short commute to work and hang on the end of the handlebars when parking. I suppose nobody will steal it because it's not very attractive. But who knows, maybe this lock will come in handy. I bet you can pick the lock with a screwdriver. But any ambitious idiot would probably steal something better than my helmet, so maybe this lock will do. except for the lack of a "rubber sleeve" that looks like a simple rubber hose. If I ever use a flimsy coiled cord to secure my frayed $400 jacket, I'll be sweating every minute I'm out of sight. My bicycle. I think it's a little bit better than nothing.
