rather a deterrent is the actual protection

The black cable didn't look too strong so I decided to check it out. It was impossible to cut with a knife. Otherwise, a good product comes at a price, although you might want to opt for something more durable when parking in dangerous spots. This is more of a deterrent than real protection.

DO NOT BUY from Motorcycle & Powersports

I locked my helmet as usual and when I came back I couldn't unlock it. I checked my code and double checked it (I had my code on my phone so I made sure I was entering the correct code). I tried many times and couldn't unlock it. Good thing it happened in the park so I could ask for help. I had to cut the cable.

Easy to use. for Alarm & Anti-Theft Protection

The best alternative to a motorcycle helmet and motorcycle jacket if you're only stopping by. The combination helps to avoid carrying another key. Protects helmet and jacket; but if the thief really wants the protected item that badly, I don't think this lock will stop him.

Difficult to use in low or no light.

This lock serves its purpose. However, when it's dark and your vision is less than perfect, it's almost impossible to see the numbers. You'll find yourself trying to dial numbers with one hand while holding your phone's flashlight in the other, and the reflection of bright chrome floods the numbers. This lock would be perfect if it came with a key.

Well, that's better than nothing

And that's just part of trying to pick this lock. This applies to ALL castles! Let's face it, bans will only really stop honest people. Or, if you're lucky, it can force the thief to turn to an easier target. This one isn't even that hard. A set of heavy cutters will cut through it in five seconds. sorry just the truth But like I said, better than nothing. Slight protection from helplessness

I have a white Bell jet helmet that I use for a short commute to work and hang on the end of the handlebars when parking. I suppose nobody will steal it because it's not very attractive. But who knows, maybe this lock will come in handy. I bet you can pick the lock with a screwdriver. But any ambitious idiot would probably steal something better than my helmet, so maybe this lock will do. except for the lack of a "rubber sleeve" that looks like a simple rubber hose.
