I love it but mine should not have passed Quality Control checks
I've been using mine for about 30 days now. I took the time to season and seal it with mineral oil and block conditioner. It's been so nice to have a quality board like this in my kitchen-- HOWEVERThe top side of mine has a bulge in one small spot. It's subtle. But, when you flip it to that side, the board can move, even rotate unexpectedly because of it. This will require me to re-finish it with sand paper in the futureLesson to learn is that you should buy such bulky, premium items locally. You not only support local business, you can afford to address an issue such as this
- You couldn't get a heavier piece of wood if you wanted to! Very Nice!
- Can easily get scratched and end up looking worn out
