I'm not sure about the shelf life of this product. On any vehicle, tires not only need to be durable, they also need to be firmly attached to the vehicle. I have a heavy half ton pickup truck that is designed for hard work and heavy loads. As with many passenger cars, the tires were mounted on the truck with a pneumatic wrench. My issue with this tool is that there is a large gap between the socket and the wrench. If I have to change the tire manually, I'm afraid that either the wrench or nut will come loose due to the force required to loosen the grooves. So I'm going to buy a jumper that will surely match the sockets. If I have to change a tire on the side of the road, I need to be sure that the tools I'm using won't fail.
