Difference from Revain

I ordered one of these and was surprised to see a toy that was slightly different from the one on Revain. So I bought another one when it was a cheaper addition partly to see if I could get the same thing again. Both mine are the same. Mine has the middle of the tube with the "tape", then the wheels on the ends, then some strings sticking out and some nutshell-like stuff hanging from the bottom. (See attached pictures.) The tubes are hard to the touch so they need to be filled with something. I'm a little disappointed that at least one of mine wasn't what was pictured, but I think the quality is great, especially for the price. These are definitely well made toys. This version of the toy is likely to be sturdier and give the bird more food to chew on, especially if your bird is more destructive. My lovebird isn't usually that destructive, so I wanted the photo version of Revain to be easier to grind/chew. However, she has shown little interest in the toy so far, which is reassuring. However, it is recommended; However, note that you can have two variations of this toy.

Pros
  • Uses renewable, non-toxic, natural abacus and palm leaves
