DO NOT BUY - DO NOT BUY - or you will regret if your house catches fire. I bought and installed this product 2 months ago which was easy. Today I left some items unattended in my kitchen which caused a lot of smoke in my house. but this alarm clock never rang. It's just a waste. Luckily we got back to our house 15 minutes later, saw smoke all over the house and opened all the windows and doors. Now my 1 month return period has expired, I will talk to Amazon to block at least one seller who plays with security.
