Review on ๐Ÿน Ferplast Hamster Cage: The Perfect Habitat for Your Furry Friend by Lori Williams

Cute, decent size but change the accessories.

This cage is very nice and a decent size. Based on the true space requirements of hamsters, I would say this is best for dwarf hamsters, if any. Visit the Hamster Hideout forum thread under Accessories & Accessories titled Large Cage Case if you need some food for thought on cage size. If you have the space, at least buy Ferplast Favola or make your own, there are plenty of guides and ideas for that. My two main concerns: The water bottle is terrible. get rid of it Aside from the nozzle spreading the bars a bit (the instructions say not to allow this, but that's physically impossible), the nozzle is too big to fit between them from the outside, so I had to place it inside the cage. . It was a bit annoying, but then I realized that the bottle wasn't dispensing a decent amount of water, if at all. I had to sit there and express it while my hamster drank. I read another comment saying the same thing so I followed it and know I'm not the only one. There is no reason to risk dehydration for your hamster. I don't like the wheel either - it seems to me that the excessively high protrusions in it are just as bad for tiny paws as a spoked wheel. You will use it, but buy a cymbal wheel or a silent spinning wheel. My accessory issues aside, the cage itself looks well made, the kids will almost certainly love it, and my very small dwarf ham was never found. Exit (for now). I will update this review if we run into any issues.
