I suffer from migraines and wear gaming glasses which should help your eyes when you stare at the screen all day. What am I doing. But I couldn't see any change in my migraines at all. Also, I'm always very sensitive to light. Even if I don't have migraines. My display settings are 5 and 5 (brightness and contrast) and when I lower them my programs don't work properly. None of my co-workers can even see my screen up close (without this thing). To make it even darker I bought this. It works great for making it dark. However, it reflects light and causes glare on the screen. This causes glare from window light and overhead light. So if you want to avoid glare, that's crap. Darkening the screen, which was my goal, works great.
