NOT for external hard light source

Can work according to need: NOT for external hard light source. I have a window about 20 feet behind me shining into the corner of my screen. My screen is matte and doesn't glare; Instead, this screen mirrored the window completely, and instead I just saw a bright purple window on Kantek. My screen in that corner became completely unreadable after the filter. So for my purposes it didn't work. By the way, the reviews of people who noticed the blurring of the filter may be wrong. Maybe they just

Pretty good filter in screen filters

I'd never seen an anti-glare filter before and wasn't sure what to expect. It's not film you tape to the screen, and it's not anything fragile that curls around the edges. Feels and looks like thin Plexiglas (I have no idea what it's actually made of) and attaches to your monitor with two hooks or "mini-arms" that run across the top of the monitor. So it does not in any way affect the integrity of the monitor, as with screws. You can put it on and take it off in just a second and it will not…

It causes terrible eye strain

I just bought this and it's not working. It causes me terrible eye strain. A beautiful filter is placed right above the computer, nothing sticks. However, glare is NOT removed. I bought a matte plastic screen from 3M but since it blurred the imac screen I returned it. However, I had NO eyestrain. It just doesn't work. My eyes hurt and I've been using it for 4 days. I had to reorder the matte anti-reflective screen from 3M. 3M does not make older screens for these 22 inch monitors. Now…

I am very happy with my Kantek LCD22W LCD

The top frame of the filter originally covered part of my webcam. At first I thought something was wrong with my computer and that it wasn't working well. Noticing the top frame was in the way, I lifted it up a bit. Protection was of great importance. My eyes burned when I sat in front of the computer for a long time. No longer! Some people have complained that it's not anti-glare. I don't see any reflections on mine, but my computer screen is at a 90 degree angle to the window. So maybe it has

Makes the screen darker but dazzling

I suffer from migraines and wear gaming glasses which should help your eyes when you stare at the screen all day. What am I doing. But I couldn't see any change in my migraines at all. Also, I'm always very sensitive to light. Even if I don't have migraines. My display settings are 5 and 5 (brightness and contrast) and when I lower them my programs don't work properly. None of my co-workers can even see my screen up close (without this thing). To make it even darker I bought this. It works…

Excellent but maybe expensive

I ordered these mainly because my cats keep urinating on my monitor. The anti-reflective tint doesn't affect the display in any way and probably even protects my eyes a little. My only concern is that the hooks are designed for much thinner monitors - I had to use some tape to attach the screen protector to the screen to keep it from popping off with every touch. I also find the price a bit high, especially since I'm ordering them from outside the US. Maybe I could save some money by going to…

Those anti-glare filters were useless. Maybe they fixed the glare

Those anti-glare filters were useless. They could eliminate glare but created an annoying reflection for the user, defeating the purpose of an anti-glare filter. They were originally bought for a co-worker with migraines hoping it would help her. They made it worse so we brought them back.

Eye pain after use. Customer service is terrible

The product did not relieve my eyestrain. It's not good as they said for the price paid. Customer service is terrible. I use my computer 8 hours a day. I want to find something that can relieve eye pain because I have been using the computer for a long time. I thought this might work. But it did not work. I still feel pain in my eyes from this computer screen. For the price you pay, you can find other products that are much cheaper and work better. If you don't mind wearing glasses, use them…
