Review on πŸ“Ί Renewed Roku Streaming Stick 2017 - Portable, Power-Packed Player with Voice Remote Featuring TV Power and Volume Control by Mike Rajput

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to program, may not be needed.

Almost identical to Roku Express. I bought one of each and the only difference I can see is that the Roku Stick remote has a microphone. The mic is great, but not great. It should be 2-5 inches from your mouth, and even then it may be missing a syllable or two. The reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of Roku's limitations. There are very few buttons on all remotes because TV and cable remotes offer many conveniences that Internet TV doesn't. What I miss right away: 1) Progress bar when fast forwarding or rewinding. Using them will require you to guess when to stop. 2) There is a rewind button for 10-15 seconds but no forward button. 3) There is no info button, so you can't get program information while watching TV. Program. 4) If you stop the program in the middle, many of them will automatically restart from the beginning when you return, so you can't pick up where you left off and when you try to go back to where you left off out, you have to guess (see problem #1). 5) Programmed keys cannot be changed. 6) I stopped watching live TV a few years ago, so I got used to FF through ads, but I'll repeat again. 7) There is no possibility to surf through the channels. You cannot scan programs while watching a program.
