For the money this seems like a great alternative to a $150 OEM replacement. It's not a perfect punch size, which isn't a big deal on the top end, but the bottom end is a preformed metal tube and getting this thing back into place wasn't easy. To be fair from what I've read/seen it's a tough job no matter what. But the imprecise contours of this part mean it doesn't fit the subframe as perfectly as the original. Now I'm wondering if I should have jumped for the original part. Once installed, the liquid was in and all the air bubbles were out, this thing makes a faint whining noise and with the old leaky hose there was no such noise. There are no leaks at any of the junctions, the level in the reservoir has not dropped, there are no air bubbles in the reservoir and I have been driving daily for a week now. I'll update when the noise goes away, but I don't think it's likely at the moment.
