Wrong part in steering system

Someone messed it up on the road, Revain auto parts matching says it will fit but not for the Acura TL 2001 power steering, it has a bolt on the flange, no bolt a flare. fitting

Pros
  • Steering system
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Leak-free operation - Spare parts

Works and costs half the original price. 2 things, the curves we have are a little bit different, but that's not a problem, and the hose is a bit thinner, so it's not so safe if you put braces on it.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • The list is long.

WE DID A LOT OF RESEARCH TO FIND THE RIGHT PRESSURE HOSE. ACURA TLS 2002 WANTED THE STORE FOR A FEW HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS (roughly $400 for the hose itself). SAVE ABOUT 650.00 ON THIS HOSE AND HIRED A BUDDY TO DO IT (IT WAS EASY HE SAID LIKE 4 BOLTS) THANKS FOR HELPING ME SAVE SOME MONEY!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • So far so good

Fits but not perfect

For the money this seems like a great alternative to a $150 OEM replacement. It's not a perfect punch size, which isn't a big deal on the top end, but the bottom end is a preformed metal tube and getting this thing back into place wasn't easy. To be fair from what I've read/seen it's a tough job no matter what. But the imprecise contours of this part mean it doesn't fit the subframe as perfectly as the original. Now I'm wondering if I should have jumped for the original part. Once installed…

Pros
  • Power steering
Cons
  • Communication with seller
