This blade made a world of difference compared to what I used before. It was also a blade for cutting wood, but I've also used it to cut other materials (non-metal) but plastic and some composite materials. I tried cleaning my old blade because the teeth still seemed sharp, but when I cut through a piece of wood it seemed to be smoking more than cutting. And I put too much stress on the motor. Almost no effort was required with this new blade, the difference was both in power consumption and in the strength of the hands. For the price we'll see how well it holds up and continues to cut smoothly but is happy with the early results.
