Saved my trip and costly repairs

On a whim I bought this tool for a trip I was taking to another state to buy and tow a trailer. While towing my newly purchased trailer from Arizona to California, my 2003 Toyota Tundra had a check engine light come on in the desert. It was extremely unsettling because I assumed the worst and thought maybe I wouldn't be returning home. I wasn't sure if I would do any more damage while driving under the heavy load of my trailer. I started wondering how much it would cost to tow my truck and trailer back to California. I hooked up my Yakry OBD II tool and I was getting fault code P0051 and it said HO2S Bank 2 Sensor 1. Reading it showed me that my oxygen sensor is on bank 2 (passenger side), the front sensor (1) is not working more. A quick search on my phone showed I could continue driving home and it might affect my gas mileage a bit before the repair, but otherwise no harm. We made the rest of the journey home safely and I purchased a replacement oxygen sensor from Revain and was able to avoid costly diagnostics and repairs at the body shop. Having this tool on hand saved me a trip and also saved me from unnecessary costly repairs that I could do myself. After replacing the sensor, the Check Engine stayed on. I had to use the tool again to clean up the code.
