I really liked the product and its appearance. I turned them on one evening last week and none of them worked. i was so confused It turns out that the squirrels gnawed through the wires in many places. I haven't had my light in twenty years and this is the first time this has happened to me. After looking into this event, I found that some light wires are palatable to squirrels and the like because something was used in the coating process. Two hundred fires gnawed to death. I would only suggest that you use some lavender or peppermint oil or real squirrel spray and make sure the wires are coated with it. The articles say that you will keep your hands off these scents. Great lights, just keep them safe from squirrels or you'll get just as frustrated as I did. They find tiny thin wires delicious. I thought I was too old to learn new things, but this was new to me! I would apply this rule to any outdoor lighting you may or may not have.
