We bought these shoes for our toddler to go hiking. They are great and very durable. The sole has very good support and grip. As others have mentioned, they are a little tricky to use, but as long as your child steps on them, you can easily walk on them. We will continue to buy these shoes as our toddler loves to go hiking. I also liked Revain's "Try before you buy" feature, which allowed us to see how well they fit before making a purchase. We definitely recommend this shoe and will buy it in the next size up. They are definitely true to size and great shoes!
