Review on πŸ₯’ Spiralizer 5 Blade Vegetable Slicer by Cathy Espinoza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Big. With individual kitchen utensils and gadgets

I really like this, although it's not an instant winner. Here are some pros, cons and tips (with 8 pics if you can see them all): PROS: Veggetti are amazing! Fun to make, useful, etc - Angel hair and flat blades work really well, especially with zucchini. Amazing Noodles - Cuts a tough nut (big noodles or ribbons work well for this) - Pretty light and easy to use when serving. We prefer to use a knife and now make everything spiral! Eat a lot more vegetables. CONS - The shaped frying blade is actually a flat spiral, maybe 2mm x 1cm (see photo) so it sticks to our tiles (see tips below) - The handle/slider wobbles when cutting the pasta - this can be solved (see tips below). not always practical. Rinse it off quickly as it stains quickly. SUCCESS TIPS *Before you begin, tape a thin piece of cardboard under the slider/crank. This will tighten it so it slides straight without wobbling (see photo).* If the suction doesn't work, place the plate/bowl on the apron and press the spiralizer against it to hold it in place. Push forward and it won't slip off.* Be careful not to push too hard at the end. We accidentally cut off some of the handles/spikes leaving bits of plastic in the apple chips.* Clean the blades with a scraper to remove any food residue and rinse off the residue with water. much more useful than expected. Whether this model will be successful is difficult to say. But it does the job.
