Perfect beginner river SUP.I'm a river rat so my review is mainly for using this SUP on moving water.First off, if you want to paddle rivers with swift shallow spots through rocks and rapids do not install the center fin. It is too long and will get caught up in rocks.All in all this SUP is extremely stable. While I still sit down or kneel through rapids that should change soon. I just want to feel extra save through shallow fast water. I much prefer this SUP over kayaks and tubes. It's not really comparable with my canoe.My main worry was that it would feel unstable due to being inflatable and I was worried it would pop dragging over log jams and rocks but I was mistaken. It's so sturdy.Highly recommend.
