Media failed to load. We have 4 year old triplets who love slamming the toilet seat. This seat closes very slowly (see video) so hopefully it will be a little quieter here, ha! It took me about 5 minutes to take the old one off and put the new one on. I've never seen expanding nuts for metal screws. It was much easier and more convenient to insert them from above and just screw them on. No need to try to hold the little plastic nut under the toilet while screwing it down. Well, they also offer plastic screws if you really want to go that route. But I would strongly recommend using metal parts. Pretty strong, and a little protrusion on the lid is good too. I would recommend this seat to any other seat I have ever used.
