Tried on my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 1500. Delivered faster than I expected. I received it about 4 days early. It works out. The firmware was already updated before opening. It disconnects when it should and reconnects very quickly so far. I plugged it in under the center console and it still seems to connect fine. I'm not sure how it will perform in hot weather, but I assume that if it's tucked away somewhere then everything will probably be fine. Luckily a short cable was included. It can be 2-3 inches long. So no more long cables. If it's short, the device has USB to USB connectors and I think it's a Micro USB to USB connector. Actually it was a great design. Allowing two connectors makes it easy to find replacement cables, no matter the length you want.
